About the Project
The Uptown & Boogie Healthy Project aims to increase access to locally grown farm fresh food, promote micro-mobility, and reduce waste through composting and textile recycling in Harlem and The Bronx. Through the creation of the Kids Club and additional community engagement strategies, interactive sessions will be held at local farmers' markets to encourage good nutrition as part of a growing movement towards a healthier, better-fed, and more educated community..

Understanding the problem
I conducted brainstorming sessions with my client to understand the concept of Farm stands and Farmers market. Various meeting sessions were done to finalize the requirements and features.
Defining the problem
After gathering the findings from the research, I worked to define the problem statement.
Problem Statement
Design a 508 and ADA compliance user friendly platform to increase local farmer’s participation in farmers market.
Wireframing the solution

Results
Developed new pages tailored to meet the specific requirements of the client, ensuring that the website structure and user interface (UI) elements were optimized to improve the overall user experience. These enhancements were strategically designed to drive more online traffic, reducing the need for in-person visits. Key features such as a 'pick-up at the farm stand' option were integrated to provide more convenience for customers. Additionally, the product range was expanded to offer a broader selection, and design updates were made to include color schemes and fonts that align with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance, ensuring the site is accessible to all users.
